First off: The pain can be felt in the words of the poem. The writer describes the loss in such a fantastic way And the Lovelorn widow. I watched my daughter have to tell her husband goodbye when he was being sent to Kuwait. I hope she never has to go through that again.
Yes, he is coming. And I'm sure he will catch a few off guard. But to be a Christian and have that feeling of knowing where you are going to be is quite comforting. I look forward to rejoining all my loved ones again one day on those streets of gold. Thanks for sharing.
The writer makes me shiver. The thought of fall turning to winter and the North wind blowing in a frost. I worked on farms pretty much all my life and the cold days were always the toughest to get through but I must admit there were some that were beautiful. I loved your poem, thank you.
The reader can feel the heartbeat of the writer as it pours theses words out onto the page. Learning lessons when it's too late. Losing those we love when we are not ready. This poem spoke a million words in just so few. Fabulous poem. I look forward to reading more.
WOW! This is different. Good but different. Cold love. Wet and slimy. Yes, I must agree. Pounce, I have experienced the Pounce. This, I guess, is the life of our dogs as they lead that day to day dog's life that is so exciting. They do have that way of brightening up the day. Good write.
