Speed Reading/reviewing- 1000 word story won't even take me five minutes to read, and you'll get a review within 10 minutes of me reading it. As it is, my reviews are usually around 300 Characters- minus my Review Sig. However, sometimes they'll reach the 1,000 Character mark. Depends on the Story/item. *Bigsmile*

Books - well, not through a Review Request page anyways, as I'd would have to review the book itself and not the Chapter, in order to get paid, but I will review them if you ask me in an email. Well, this is a nice little poem, which, while talking about a bird, seems to be an explanation for why a writer writes- Because they must. Sometimes it's hard to figure out why one writes- Because of a favored author, because of a song, some movie, some event, but it all starts the process.

Well, this is an interesting story. A young woman, who is a fan of horror stories, finds herself inside a strange library. While there, she meets up with a strange person/creature who is the source of every horror story, and he wants her to pick one out, one that none have read.

Well, this is an interesting story. A prince rides off on his horse, in search of the Princess, who is trapped inside a tall tower. He manages to locate the tower where the Princess resides, and she helps him to enter it. However, it seems that the Princess has a dark secret.

Well, this looks like that start of an interesting story. On his deathbed, a general, who fought in the war against the machines, tells a reporter about how he managed to defeat the head machine, by distracting her with various attacks, and making her get cocky. However, this was at the the cost of several million lives.

Well, this looks like an interesting way to quickly put down a person's thoughts. I see some things that I can relate to. For instance, in the Book to Movie section, I feel that something is always left out when movie people try to turn a book to a movie, such as with Eragon, plenty was left out, but some come close, such as with True Grit, though I think the John Wayne version was a closer match to the book than the Jeff Bridges remake. Of course, we all have opinions.

Oh this is very relating. Love requires hot water, lots and lots of hot water, especially for taking a shower. So, if one sees that their wife has had a long hard day at work, they should let them take that much needed shower, so that all of their worries will go away.

Well, this is an interesting story/poem. A young woman encounters a beast, who seems to be in a great deal of pain. The young woman asks what's wrong, and the beast tells her how his heart hurts, but it is not hurting because or normal means. Very interesting.

Well, this is an interesting little story. Two men are busy climbing out of the vent of a volcano, while a third man pursues them, as it seems the two took some diamonds from him. Less than four hundred feet separates them from the surface, but the one is getting some ideas of their own.

Well, this looks like the start of an interesting story. A number of young men and women face a large number of challenges, so that they can be accepted by their respective tribes. However, it looks like not all of them will be able to survive their challenges.

Well, this is an interested chapter in your story. While out looking for some items, a young woman discovers something of interest; a body. She then goes to get some help, so that the body can be taken care of in a manner that was proper. However, she discovers something while searching the body.

Well, this is an interesting little chapter. A young girl, who is fairly weak on her own, becomes quite active whenever her wolf-mate, who is quite large and powerful, even among monster wolves, enters the fray. Makes one wonder what they will be like when they reach their full growth.

A young man decides to go through a series of Trials so that he can be bonded with a special creature, so that he can help out his tribe better than he could on his own. Review of It Had to Happen

Oh I have to laugh as I read this. In the over-the-top style of James Bond, a spy must escape from the compound of a group of terrorists. However, Mister Bond is not without a powerful arsenal of Bad-Guy-Neutralizing gadgets, which do the job, and then some. Very funny.

I think the "actual" Bond would be quite pleased.

This is something of a hard item to rate and review. A child losing their life is extremely hard to write about as one wants them to live for a nice long time, as it should be the son who buries the father, not the other way around. Of course, I get the feeling your nephew's murderer won't last long in prison- convicts don't look too kindly on those who kill children.

This is a very fitting tribute for Anne McCaffrey, Queen Dragon Rider of Pern. It adequately describes the dragons of that planet, from Gold, to Bronze, to Brown, to Blue, to Green. I enjoy reading her books, and own more than a few. She will be missed.

Well, this is an interesting poem. It seems to be about two people, who keep different hours, and rarely talk to each other. One person takes care of children, while the other seems to tend to other things that are dealt with in life. Very interesting.

This is your entry to my blogging prompt: If the Zombie Apocalypse occurred right this second, what would you use to defend yourself? I just have to laugh *Laugh* - Squirrels against zombies, that is just silly. Zombies would just go, "Appetizers!" and eat them. As for combat, get a crowbar, it would save your life. Your odds of Survival- The Magic Ball says, "It don't look too good, but at least you made me laugh."

This is certainly a useful item for beginning reviewers to check out. It has many things that reviewers ought to be, and do, when doing a review. Personally, I think that being respectful might be the most important, and I think that setting aside personal bias/prejudices might be beneficial.

For instance, I've noticed that items that have Nazi-type people as the protagonist have low ratings. Okay, obviously Nazis a touchy subject, but there are other things to consider, such as spelling, grammar, and how it all goes together.

Also, on a personal note, I have an item about a knight who was a dragon slayer, who was forced into the body of a dragon. The first review I got goes "You look like a great writer. However, there's no way that a mere human could ever slay a dragon." The review then when about how there was no way that anyone could slay a dragon, saying things like how Beowolf most likely didn't kill the dragon he fought, as the body was never found. Uhg, Annoying. Of course, the worse thing about it was the *Star**Star*'s he gave me. I've yet to get above an average of 3 stars because of it. Okay, enough ranting about my poor Dragon's Eyes.

Of course, if a person really doesn't like the item, what's the sense in doing the review? The only legitimate reason I see for rating and reviewing an item you don't like is because you have to, for a reviewing challenge or it was an item entered in a contest you run.

Well, this is an interesting story. A young woman, who has been raised to be a sacrifice, to protect her home from a vicious dragon, finds out that the story was just a way for some priests to stay in power. She is rescued by a stranger, who shows her that dragons are real, but not vicious.

Well, this is an interesting story. A dragon shows up at a town on its Market day, seeking a special girl for a special reason, and locates her. Also, since the dragon has the reputation of being a good dragon, the situation calls for a feast. However, it seems that the dragon's intentions are far from noble.
