being a misfit but still human as everyone else
1 too many tables.
1 too many chairs.
100 square meters
it’s awfully too crammed.

maybe if we move this here and move that there
the lines will align
a perfect fit, how about that ?

souls of crooked lines
of curves and spirals
confined within the ruler straight
drawings of a school floor plan.

I hear my name breathed in a class of 42.

but I know you’re as wonky as I am
our lines en masse, a mess
of scribbles and doodles
of ducks and flowers
in math class on math paper.
