Funny poem about life and the things I do impulsively and things I should wait for.
Procrastination Nation

Like slavery

And death

I would like to take my time with these decisions.

Like abortion

And unrest

Before I drink and then drive

Before I impulsively go out and buy.

I should think about these things.

Sometimes I over eat

And it causes swelling of my feet

At times anger takes the question

And I haphazardly pose a suggestion

Like that overdose

And the many hearts I have broke

These things shouldn't be taken lightly.

Dieting led to anemia

And hypoglycemia

Maybe it was done in haste

Trying to change the size of my waist.

So, I didn't write that term paper on time

But in the end, I did shine

I procrastinated all through college

But, I did gain knowledge

I made the Dean's List

And thought, "all because of this?"

I wrote it on a whim and somehow, I did win.

I procrastinate about the bills but, not what I'm spending

I have a little savings but, not enough for a happy ending.

Now I sit in this job not making enough money

And I want to change. But not move.

"Now isn't that funny?"

I want to change my life. Or maybe I don't

Will I, should I, I don't know, I just won't.

Maybe, I'll think about it a little more.
