This is a different poem abt friendship, about a friend who was promised and left behind.
You accompanied me through my depressing nights
You say those alleviating lines while embracing me tight
The lines that could bring back the serenity in my heart
From the nightmares that are haunting everytime we depart.

You are my sun
You light me up when I was glum
You give me the warmth the moon couldn’t give
And the vigour that makes me go along and live.

You can also be my moon
You do not mind reminding me that I’m not alone
You’re the moon that illuminates my dimmed world
You are the moon that provides comfort and cold.

You said that you will never get tired of holding me
You were always there to keep me company
You promised that you will never leave me behind
You do things that will not make this affinity subside.

But where are those things you swore
Those which left me scarred and sore
You left me unconsciously dead
Just empty promises made and said.
