Emotional poetry

Chalk Hearts

Faded hearts drawn in chalk on the walls of yesterday
The essence of every word I never got to say
Inside the woven silk of lost and broken memories
Lost dreams are visible, there for us to sieze

Under the wings of the Magpie, a shadow across my heart
Words stick inside icicle tears, tearing me apart
Disappear just like the hearts of chalk, painted badge of desire
I vanish inside the smoke of this emotional funeral pyre.
