The painful strive of a man for progress but instead finds himself back to the beginning

The whirl wind whistles
Woke me up to reality
The journey never ends

I shook off the dust
All in formality
I myself, I’m dust

My pain, my shame and i
Down the lonely aisle
Wondering through the miles

The next phase’s uncertainty
The tricks of eternity
Step by step in vanity

Whose grief?
Whose pain?
Whose fate?

Yet, I must keep moving
Under the weight of fate
As I say yes repeatedly to the sjambok

Where next?
I keep finding out in misery
That I’m back to my past
