You and I are from different worlds


You from an angled nightmare

I from another angle

You from a page of possible lies and improbable dreams

I from another page

You from a seat of cushioned endlessness

I from another seat

You from a world

I from another world


I gaze up from my world

You gaze up from yours

Disconnected glances dance among us


What a world, the things I've made
