A poem for my daughter Nicole.
Nicole

How'd ya get so pretty ?
Where'd ya get those eyes ?
I think ya are an angel,
that came here in disguise.

You tip-toed out of heaven,
and came here on a star.
Now my trip back to heaven,
doesn't seem as far.

You left a trail of stardust,
to mark your homeward way.
But first we'll live life hand in hand,
we'll love, we'll laugh, we'll play.

When our lives are over,
you'll lead me heaven bound.
Where all the things of beauty,
and love, and God are found.

Then you and I will tip-toe in,
That's what we'll have to do.
And I will have a new job then,
an angel just like you.
