My home, my love.
Home is where the heart is, and mine lies here,
Amongst the hills and prairie,
The farms and forests,
I thrive.

My quaint flyover state,
So many times mocked by others,
Takes it all on the chin,
Turns the other cheek,
And takes silent pride in itself.

Home is where the heart is,
And it's in Iowa my heart wishes to stay.
