The moments were timed
The clocks chimed
Ten pennies dimed
BUT - Nothing rhymed.

Parsley, sage, rosemary thymed
The mountaineers climbed
The citrus juicer limed
BUT - Nothing rhymed.

The performers mimed
Odd numbers primed
Dust and dirt grimed
BUT - Nothing rhymed.

Green stuff slimed
Burglars crimed
The patisserie sublimed
BUT -

Nothing rhymed.
