premise for a NaNoWriMo
Protagonist: Me. A nurse.

Protagonist's Flaws: low self-esteem, perfectionist, obsessive-compulsive, sensory processing sensitivity (Not a flaw), depression, anxiety, Black and White thinking.

Goal: The protagonist wants to enjoy her work, pursue a passion to help people away from healthcare.

Conflict (s): Finances while in grad school, self-doubt on the path to becoming an art therapist, bureaucracy in healthcare, narcissistic surgeons, demands for perfection, service field stress. (spouse, slow to support her dream to escape nursing and start a new career.) (emotional exhaustion and disengagement) Lack of support at work. NO Voice. The protagonist's Anger.

Antagonist (s): self, spouse, healthcare system, culture (high expectations of immediate care by consumers) Surgeons, PCP?

Premise: Experienced Registered Nurse suffering from burnout, depression and suicidal ideation, learns about boundaries, self-care, and re-claiming passion as she starts on the road to a new career as an art therapist.
