When love was lost, peace was found.
"Peace Rides A Cloudy Moon"

My blue eyes are red, from singing the blues.
My soliloquy in song, is a story of somber news.
From so long ago, for so long,
Every breath I sing, it's the same o' song.
As these crying verses commit to grow,
Dancing life with you is painfully slow.

Fraudulent affection; a true love, I cannot find.
In your breast pocket, Puck hides and portends unkind.
Our friendship, a tale of romantic frolic and peaceful pause;
Two youths growing old, on paths of a spirited cause,
Somewhere, sometime, someone interfered.
Communication and understanding disappeared.

Stolen moments ensued; our bliss in shadows, secretly shared.
Memories kept tucked and treasured, thinking you actually cared.
Misty muses send sad lyrics; steeped in suds and sorrow.
My soul's scattered pieces still need you, now and tomorrow.
My blue eyes are red, singing songs in shades of blue.
'Can't seem to change the lonely lines, when I think of you.

Wondering why I bothered.
Pondering why you mattered.
Doubting your heart's heart knew mine, as you casually claim.
A question of Time's truth-telling will forever remain.
With nightmares realized, it sometimes seems,
I've lived too many day-times of fractured dreams.

My pacing in silent wind is useless, by you I am forever told.
Yet, at last! Peace rides a cloudy moon, winking a lunar code.
Music magic sent on a poet's cosmic notes, rescues virtuosity.
Divine vision on a song-board is a gift of love, defined with clarity.
Determined there'll be no more drowning in a ballad of tears.
No more falling; no more waiting decades of uncertain years.

To your credit, a fool's life lesson to learn; for this, I am bound.
These stumbling feet found a place to stand on solid ground.
Even when the heart ceases its living,
Mine continues the love and its giving.
My blue eyes are no longer red, singing a bluesy tune.
I celebrate a melody; as couples dance, sway, and swoon.
