Long may you play in others' waterfalls
Waterfalls

We hide our lies in waterfalls
Behind a flowing veil
With truths that lie, they hold their thrall
As rivers bend and flail
With starts inland that fall from high
Down mountains find our flow
With dreams of sand and bright blue sky
As fountains sound below
Down the cliffs, we find our grooves
Meandering our way
Mares that run through nights and prove,
Dream stallions of our days
Colouring outside the lines
These sketches of our past
A drawn out present, long defines
Our first point to our last
From summer to the winter's end,
our springs until our falls
With memories that splinter, rend
Whilst time, it takes it all
A time we spend dismissing
The secrets that we're told
We search for what we're missing,
and seize the truths we're sold
With lies shrouded in waterfalls
Masked veils running cold
Midst treasure troves in crowded halls
... for those let in the fold
