Amazing Peace

Dream or nightmare?
I don’t know.
We live like creatures in a zoo
Or in boxes side by side
Or stacked on each other.
The streets are like
Arteries with high cholesterol.
Our cities are more
Black and white than
The blues of the sky,
The greens of a forest,
And the yellow of a pleasant sunset.
We humans are
Trying to breathe, work, move and live.
Take me where
I can feel the warm, sun,
The gentle, fragrant wind
And see life with no boundaries
And have amazing peace.
