The way of the world
When minds turn old
And hearts turn cold
When heaven shuts it's gate
And God plays with fate

When humility is vain
And honor is slain
When bravery is foolish
And sacrifice is selfish

When the deviants straighten their lane
By driving the normals insane
When sorrow is a measure
Of happiness in leisure

When the ones who love you
Never know you
When the ones who know you
Can never love you

To the edge of reality
Where the waters run red
And the skies are painted grey

One in a million becomes
One of a million
For the world it turns
A diamond in the rough
To a mere drop in the ocean
