We are not alone...
Dateline Roswell

"Alien Ship Found!" the Times's headline screamed.

"What's the story say, Clem?" asked Bill.

"It says a couple of hikers out in New Mexico found what they think is wreckage from some kinda flyin' saucer.  The military came outta that base in Roswell, boxed it all up and...," Clem paused significantly, "they told the hikers to keep their mouth shut."

"I told you, didn't I, back in '38, that Welles fella was lyin' about that Wells fella's story!"

"Maybe, and maybe not," replied Clem. "What if that radio actor had a bunch of G-Men real close by, makin' sure, he kept to their script?"

"Whaddaya mean?"

"It's the Government, Bill!  If they want a story buried, it gets buried...and you along with it, if you don't play along."

"And just how would you know that?"

Clem didn't answer for a moment, then said, "I just know, that's all. Now, let it go, Bill."
