A poem that explores and implores the heart to yield its truth and beauty to love.

The heart holds answers,
         if you explore.
But questions grow old and die,
         when denied entry.

The passage to that beating rhythm
         leads past a soul,
                   empty, seeking lasting fulfillment,
an endless hole.

I can see right through you
                   to a fertile place,
as expansive as a sea rolling you
         eternally back to me.
