I'm good at...
Speed Reading/reviewing- 1000 word story won't even take me five minutes to read, and you'll get a review within 10 minutes of me reading it. As it is, my reviews are usually around 300 Characters- minus my Review Sig. However, sometimes they'll reach the 1,000 Character mark. Depends on the Story/item. *Bigsmile*

I will not review...
Interactives that don't have an actual story started - Give me some meat to eat there before you ask me to look at it, with at least one thread being at least 10 chapters long, and not just choices that aren't even developed, preferably written by your own hand. Books - well, not through a Review Request page anyways, as I'd would have to review the book itself and not the Chapter, in order to get paid, but I will review them if you ask me in an email. Anything that doesn't allow reviews. *Bigsmile*

There are days we wonder about our lives, like if we are safe or not. Sometimes, we just don't get an answer, or we get the wrong one. Sometimes though, what we need to do, is make our own answers in life. It isn't easy to do, but it can be worth it when we do everything we can to figure things out. That can certainly lead to something special in the end.

Review of April Fools!

Well, this is a cute little story to read. Some kids decide to pull a prank on their parents, but it seems that the parents already have an idea as to what the tricks are. Can't go wrong with the classic Caramel Onion pretending to be a Caramel Apple, though the Frosted-covered Brussel Sprout pretending to be a Cake-pop is a new one to me. Still, this is worth the chuckle to read.

The characters are interesting to read about, and relatable in some ways.

You talk about having issues talking to others, how your own fear holds you back, and how sometimes others don't seem to be interested in what you are talking about. As someone with Autism, I can relate to most of this. There are times that I have trouble talking to others, especially when they appear to lose interest in what I'm talking about. The trick is to have a certain amount of patience, and perhaps even the courage to allow others to talk.

Thoughts
A relatable piece to think on.

I don't see any issues with spelling or grammar. Might want a space between paragraphs in the future, especially in larger items.

Review of Rough Draft (Duh)

I have to chuckle as I read this. Writing can be tricky. Sometimes you have to plan out the words, try to figure out if they'll fit or not. Sometimes it's the lines, and if they rhyme or not. Then there's the fact that sometimes you got a keyboard with worn letters, and the trick is, which key is which letter (I can relate to that). There is always something to think on.

Ah, Mother's day and Tulips, a perfect combination. I am the sort of person who enjoys the sight of flowers - something about simple pleasures and all that. The one good thing about "dead" tulips is this - you can plant them (or, rather, the bulb) into the ground, and next year, you have a whole new tulip. It's something that plenty don't seem to get - put it in the ground, and you'll get more in the future. There's just something about it.

A cute piece to read for Mother's Day.

Friendship is a very precious gift. It is something that's free, yet is worth everything, weights nothing, but lasts a lifetime, that one person can't own, but two can share - and I got that line from Ronald McDonald from the animated Haunted House movie I watched as a child - wouldn't mind watching that again, as it was cute. As stated, it's the most valuable thing that people can have.

Review of If Trees Are Gone

This poem asks a very good question - what would happen if trees were gone? We tend to take them for granted. They provide shade, places to have a picnic at, places for birds to live. They produce fruit for us to eat (to say nothing about Christmas trees, and firewood). We use them to build our homes, or at least furnish them in some fashion. Always something to be had.

This is a poem dedicated to Dr. Jose P. Rizal, a Pilipino dedicated to getting the locales equal rights. Despite having no military role, folks see him has a hero, for speaking out for the people of the Philippines. It can be interesting learning about other nations Heroes, as it makes you want to learn more about their people.

There is nothing quite like being able to enjoy nature. Nice day, gentle breeze, perhaps do some fishing, or get a picnic going. Perhaps watch a bird, or a number of critters. These sorts of things allow one to take pleasure in certain simple things which might otherwise be missed by those who are busy. So, take five minutes to rest, and enjoy the sights.

As someone whose family has had members serve in the military, this is the sort of things folks tend to worry about. Will father/ mother/ brother/ sister/ uncle/ aunt/ son/ daughter/ whomever come home? Will they be safe and sound? How will they be, when they do return home? Lots of questions occupy the mind during such times.

There are times in our lives where we have problems asking for help, especially for things that cannot be done by Earthly means. For those, we want some sort of higher help, but not necessarily from the Big Dude Himself. Thus, we might turn to Mary, the mother of his Son, to see if she is willing to help us out in our time of need. A very cute poem.

Review of A real nightmare

Well, this is a very short story, and I feel that my review will be longer than it. *Laugh* That being said, you have someone talking about getting a series of panic attacks, which bother them to no end. Sometimes one must face certain things, in order to get past them.

Thoughts
An interesting piece, but I have some questions: What was the cause of the original panic attack? Was this written for a contest? (If so, a link would be good.)

Spelling and Grammar
There are some issues that come to mind. You have some extra-long sentences that could be broken into at least two, like the first. You don't need to have a space before punctuation. Also, last section could be something like, "subside (Comma), then (instead of than) disappear."

Review of The Funeral Pyre

A woman gets a job working for someone that most advise not working for, a vampyr. There's a number of rumors about them, but are they true, or lies? There's plenty that could be said, as the woman tries to do her job. However, her mind becomes filled with thoughts about the vampyr, causing her to wonder.

The characters seem interesting. I wonder if there is a part 2.

When the vampyr is talking about their family, she refers to them as "we" instead of "they". Might want to change it, unless she's not sure where she is. *Laugh*

An old man gets on a train, and thinks about his life as the train moves along the tracks. He thinks about his wife and children as things move past him, reflecting upon things that had happened. However, things soon come to an end, and as it turns out, this is his last train ride of all.

"You're lucky we're in a church!" - Indeed!

Well, this certainly has an unexpected ending. You have a Pastor, whose church has been having a number of issues lately. Thus, he comes to the conclusion that Satan has somehow managed to enter the house of worship in order to cause folks to turn to sin, somehow. Thus, he tries to root Him out. Problem is, he tries a little too hard.

Characters
Oh, I have to laugh at the exchange between the Pastor and the cellphone woman.

Well, this is a cute poem to read. It is the journey from a first meeting, to that of love. Initially meeting because of a mutual acquaintance, you have now become Boyfriend and Girlfriend (or whatever the situation is). Sometimes love can take us out of some very dark spaces, and off of dark paths. There is always something.

There are plenty of reasons to have a team. Many games require them. After all, it's hard to play football without at least a dozen more players. These teams can forge some of the best friendships as a result, especially when everyone works together to achieve their goal. It can be a whole lot of fun as a result.
