Summary of this DVD...
I have never been a big Kevin Bacon fan, don't know why, I don't dislike him, I just have not seen him in anything that set my heart afire. But now I must reset my perceptions.

While convalescing the danged TV has become a distraction from my reading. I usually only watch a few things with the wife. Today, I was left to my own devices and found myself perusing Amazon Prime and found this Movie.

(description from IMDB)
Based on real-life events, Lt. Col. Michael Strobl, a volunteer military escort officer, accompanies the body of 19-year-old Marine Chance Phelps back to his hometown of Dubois, Wyoming.
This type of DVD is good for...
Renewing your belief in what our nation is supposed to be about.
I especially liked...
That this movie is based on real life, that it depicted events I have witnessed, it triggers emotions within me that have been dormant far too long.
I didn't like...
The only negative I can share is my regret for not finding or seeing this movie before it was 8-years old.
When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...
Being a veteran, having served with some amazing men and women back in my day. (and just because the ships had wooden decks didn't mean it wasn't the Navy) The film made me want to shout out to the world about how selfish we are in our failing to acknowledge the true sacrifices made by our service members.

I am too old, fat, and sickly to climb out on my roof-top, so I am doing the next best thing and writing this my first product review, (something I thought I would never do.)
This DVD made me feel...
The cast made me cry a dozen times, and crying bears are so silly. Not to mention that chips that you are sneaking while your wife is out of the house get soggy.
The cast of this DVD...
Excellent job by everyone in the movie. Kevin Bacon's best film I have seen.
Further Comments...
If you don't have Amazon Prime, It's only $5 to buy the DVD, and I saw a few used for .99 cents.
