Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I was curious if anyone could help me out. I'm finishing up a novel, and after putting three novels up on the web for free I thought I'd try actually getting an agent with this latest one, so I'm looking up some agencies to send queries to once I've finished in the next week or so. I'm looking at listings on the Writer's Market, and I came on one listing that says "Offers written contract, binding for life of book in print." Does this mean that this agent's contract means that you can never terminate the contract so long as your book is in print? That's what it sounds like, but that seems pretty extreme.
