I just wanted to say the dynamic interactives is a really cool feature, and a clever way to decrease the load on your database. It reminds me of the Jonah story format for twine.

Is this a new feature, or have I just been ignorant all this time?

Since the goback button is the operative item to decrease the load on your server by preventing redundant page loads, I would suggest making it more noticeable, or duplicating it by the chapter choices at the bottom of the chapters. I think this would further guarantee its use by casual or new members.
