Greets, Thanks -- These are good questions which we'll be able to use to build some better documentation. Here's some answers: What work is being done or benefit does it afford WDC? - Calculations are performed on the computer for crypto currencies (in this case Monero) and then we convert from crypto to GPs at the current prevailing rate that the back-end mining company is paying us. Monero is a crypto-coin similar to Bitcoin except that it's algorithm was specifically created so that normal computers would be able to do the work... rather than the large mining server farms that have to be setup now to mine new Bitcoin. So we're essientally trading you Monero for Gift Points on the fly. Is mining encroaching on any of our devices data/Files/etc? - No, no data, files or anything personal information. Calculations only. Is mining collecting or sharing our info or connection info beyond what WDC Normally collects? - Mining performs mathematical computations and sends the results of those computations back to a pool for inclusion. The calculations are specifically math focused. Are there limits to mining? - No. Does mining work from ANY Internet connection including WiFi as long as we are logged in? - Yes. Is mining permitted from more than 1 IP Address - Yes. Best, ~~SM A Few Helpful Tips... If your problem is with an item, please include its Item ID! New member? Start here!
