What cubby hole does it fit in.
This is very probably a newbie question and I would appreciate any direction to a resource or assistance,
The work I have written has one element of science fiction upon which the story develops. Most of the story happens on contemporary earth with "ordinary" people. The science fiction facet (multiverse existence) sets up the story but the story isn't about a multiverse, only some effects on the characters/story as it is being told. Question: Is this story science fiction because it has an element of science fiction? Asked another way. Do all stories where two characters kiss, a romance novel? Are there Science Fiction-Romances or Romantic-Space Operas? Thanks
