Looks like things have changed in the past 4 years. Now it's much easier to change your email address. As of July, 2017, go to Help, then to left side of screen. Second from the top is My Account (with a gear icon). Clicking it brings up a new list of choices. Choose Account Settings and your email will be near the top of the settings page. It's editable. Change your email addy and you're done.
