A writer uses whatever he/she make come across to get her creative juices going. |
I surf many websites..seeking advise and seeking ideas from many sources.Sometimes, a quote or some kind of saying..hits home..or gets my creative juices moving..Here's a quote with no author behind it, I found on lablaugh.com.. The only way... The only way you truly fail is to stop trying altogether. I want to be a writer...but I get writer's block and stress..kills my creative sense..so I seek....Thank you |
The word succulence means yummy to me. A good piece of rib meat is succulent. A good piece of chicken is succulent. A good cantaloupe is succulent. A good man is succulent. A good piece of candy can be succulent. Sometimes, my mountain dew can be succulent when I am really thirsty. And water can be succulent when dying of thirst. |
To end the misery that has afflicted the human condition for thousands of years, you have to start with yourself and take responsibility for your inner state at any given moment. That means now. --Eckhart Tolle We have to take responsibility for our anger in order to survive with other human beings. We start with ourselves and work our way around our community spreading what we know is right and wrong. If we all can get along with our anger and what it might do then we will take care of half of the misery in the world. |
Labor day is important to all who know how to work their butts off. Whatever that may be. I work in the medical field. I am not a nurse or doctor but I understand and watch what they do and understand how hard they work. So with that best to them and everyone else. Happy Labor Day! |
My theory of the fable is the crow needed the water to survive. So instinct step in! Something told the crow what to do. And his instincts step in and told him to do it. Just like a human instincts step in when a problem comes about. If you really want to survive you will no matter what. |
Learned this from another writer. "My life became chaotic and stressful trying to learn that you can't please everyone." Something we should have been told from our parents as a kid. Not getting stressful would be very useful at a early age. It would help with many health issues. Going after a goal for you and no one else. |

I am irrational about LOVE! I have not found the true man I want to say I will live the rest of my life with. Well, like they say there is plenty of fish in the sea and I am still out fishing. |
No Housework day I would not do any housework. Peace and quiet if I can muster that. I would do college work or read. I would do has much Rest and Relax that I could do in one day. And leave housework for tomorrow. |
Hello Fellow Writers and Readers! I just received two new books. One was recommended to me and one I took a guess it would be worth having. One In Eight by Lucy Cafiero Its a good book and worth looking at and getting. About breast cancer. Teen guide. Had my writing reviewed by the writer in a class. She is great. I think, she will make a great editor some day. 642 Things to Write About by The San Francisco Writers' Grotto. Its like a journal with prompts. I am feeling lost. And my writing needed a pick me up. Its so fun. |
I am a coffee drinker for sure! I like ice tea and hot tea every so often. I only drink two cups of coffee a day. I am not like most people who drink coffee all day long. In the summer time, I crave the ice tea with lemon. |
