My published travel articles for http://www.fuji-travel-guide.com/ are also stored here, if anyone's interested in visiting this sunny Japanese island and wants some recommendations from a pseudo-local.

My travels in Okinawa began in December 2015, years after the 2011 tsunami had devastated the last Japanese town I was based in and killed hundreds of my friends and students.

I've never been much of a blogger or putting stuff up online for people to read, until I took on a side job in April 2017 writing travel articles for an online travel site. This collection will feature all my articles, as well as any other pieces I may choose to pen about this fascinating island where East and West collide.
