Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |
| Finally, I can relax a bit. No more kettle duty. I'm done for this year. Tonight, we're going to my sister-in laws. I'm hoping to get a my very own chess set. |
| Went to church this morning. It was Christmas pageant Sunday. I had work to do so I didn't stay for lunch. Later, I going over to my fiancé's place. |
| My sister came home early. She brought McDonald's home for dinner. I hope to play some chess later. |
| I have a busy week ahead. The Salvation Army called today. I'm on Kettle duty on Monday and Tuesday. Plus, I'm spending Sunday afternoon with the fiancé. I have been learning how to play chess on Chess.com I'm starting to improve my game. |
| I just finished up eating dinner. We had chicken alfredo. Other than that, it was an uneventful day. |
| I went to the bank earlier today. I went shopping at Giant Tiger and picked up lunch at the Whistle Stop. I going to watch soccer later. |
| Everything went smoothly the last couple of days on the kettle drive. I got there safe and sound and got home save and sound. Today, I went out for lunch with my fiancé and his parents. Afterwards, we went shopping for a mobile phone. Everything went well until the lady asked for ID. I gave her my health card and debit card, but it wasn't good enough. We had to put the phone on hold until I get a proper photo ID. I was really disappointed. I hate the fact that I have to go through all this BS. to get a mobile phone. It sucks. |
| Well, I'm all set. I booked a cab for Saturday and have cash to pay for it thanks to my sister. I'll pay her back next week. All I have to do now is confirm it tomorrow. |
